Production Project Manager - MicroGrid/Power Generation - Manufacturing

Role Description

The Project /Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within budget, scope, and schedule requirements. Projects will vary across multiple areas of the Manufacturing BU, including:

• New product development
• Product upgrades
• Quality improvements
• Cost-out initiatives
• Efficiency improvements

The Project Manager (PM) will typically manage multiple projects and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document project goals and KPI’s/metrics, reporting on the status of the projects periodically. The PM will also lead the identification and mitigation of risks, working as part of a cohesive team to design and deliver innovative products and services that exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience in product development and/or manufacturing environment.
• Current PMP Certification or prepared to actively pursue.
• 3+ Years’ demonstrated Project Management ability in a manufacturing or construction industry.
• Knowledge of ERP (IFS or SAP preferred) and CAD systems (AutoCad preferred).
• Very strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to solve difficult coordination problems and provide structure to situations with limited or conflicting information.
• Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office, Project, Word, and Excel.
