Commercial Roofing Service Manager

We’re partnering with a growing commercial construction company in the Fargo area to hire a full‑time Commercial Roofing Service Manager. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who knows commercial roofing, understands service work, and is ready to take ownership of a department with strong growth potential. In this role, you’ll lead service operations, manage crews, support customers, and help build a reliable, profitable service department focused on quality workmanship, fast response times, and long‑term client relationships. What You’ll be Doing: Lead day‑to‑day service operations for commercial roofing repair, maintenance, inspections, warranty work, and small reroof projects Serve as the primary contact for building owners, property managers, facility managers, and service customers Schedule crews, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep work moving efficiently Visit job sites to inspect roof issues, diagnose leaks, and recommend practical repair solutions Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and maintenance agreements Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, within scope, and to quality standards Track service performance, including response time, backlog, labor efficiency, job costs, and margins Lead, train, and support service technicians and crews Improve service processes, documentation, reporting, and job tracking Collaborate with operations, sales, and accounting to support billing, profitability, and customer satisfaction Who We’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, sheet metal, building envelope, or related construction services Previous experience managing service work, field crews, or repair operations Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, leak diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance Ability to read plans, specifications, work orders, and service documentation Confident communicator who can work professionally with customers, crews, vendors, and internal teams Organized, proactive leader who can manage schedules, priorities, and moving parts Financial awareness with an understanding of job costing, labor efficiency, and profitability Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits and customer needs What Our Client Offers: Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year DOE Full‑time Monday - Friday schedule Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Employee Assistance Program HSA/FSA options Referral program and employee discounts Opportunity to lead and grow a key department within a stable construction organization Team culture built around quality, accountability, communication, and problem‑solving #J-18808-Ljbffr
