Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves patient care for adult and geriatric populations in a 30-bed unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and unit float responsibilities across six different units within the hospital. The position requires a seasoned traveler, with experience in telemetry and general medical-surgical nursing, to support a busy trauma level II and adult care environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of nursing experience, valid state license (compact license accepted), certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level II settings, telemetry monitoring, and float to multiple acute care units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other acute care departments within the hospital.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 40 hours, with assignments involving adult and geriatric patient care, support from interdisciplinary teams, and use of electronic medical records through Epic. Candidates must be flexible with scheduled holidays and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient census of approximately 27 per day.
