Senior Financial Modeling Analyst | M&A, Private Equity
Atrium
New York, NY (Hybrid)
$140,000 - $160,000 Base + Bonus (5%)
Atrium is partnering with a global professional services organization seeking a finance professional with experience in Investment Banking, Big 4 Deals/TAS, Valuation Advisory, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, or M&A Advisory.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys transaction-oriented work but may be looking for a more sustainable long-term platform.
Unlike many opportunities marketed to finance professionals, this role is not focused on budgeting, forecasting, or routine FP&A activities. Instead, the individual will support live transactions and complex financial analyses across M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Capital Markets, and IPO-related matters.
Responsibilities include:
• Financial modeling and transaction analysis
• Capitalization tables
• Dilution modeling
• Liquidation waterfalls
• Merger consideration analyses
• IPO ownership modeling
• Advising deal teams on transaction-related financial impacts
What makes this opportunity interesting is that it sits in a unique space between traditional advisory work and an operating environment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys the analytical side of transactions, financial modeling, and complex deal structures, but isn't necessarily looking to spend the next decade in a constant cycle of fire drills, all-night turnaround requests, and unpredictable schedules.
You'll continue working on meaningful, high-profile transactions while building a career in an environment designed for long-term growth, development, and sustainability.
Ideal backgrounds include:
Investment Banking
Big 4 Transaction Advisory Services (TAS)
Big 4 Valuation
M&A Advisory
Corporate Development
Strategic Finance
If this sounds relevant to your background, I'd be happy to share additional information confidentially.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
A background check may be conducted following a conditional offer of employment, where permitted by applicable law.
Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Atrium is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application and interview process.
