Lead Certified Veterinary Technician

Tender Care Animal Hospital in Morton, IL is seeking an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician. Leadership Responsibilities Delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Monitoring daily operations to maintain safety and uphold medical standards. Providing training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help team members grow and succeed. This position is ideal for technicians with high emotional intelligence, a talent for building positive team culture, and excellent multitasking and time management skills. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule. Availability needed Monday–Saturday, 1–2 Saturdays required per month. Benefits Compensation: $21–$24 per hour, for each hour worked*. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting. Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Illinois. Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia monitoring and training. Dental prophy and radiographs. Cystocentesis, venipuncture, IV catheter placement. Microscope evaluations.
