Operations Coordinator, Business Development

About the RoleMatX is seeking an organized, self-starting Operations Coordinator to support business development. You'll manage scheduling, prepare research ahead of meetings, and make sure commitments to partners and vendors are kept. You'll also take on projects across the company related to business operations, e.g helping facilities evaluate a new space, working with recruiting to get promising candidates seen quickly, or making sure an important vendor bill gets paid by giving finance the context to act.ResponsibilitiesManage scheduling across internal teams and external partners and vendorsTriage inbound communications and draft follow-ups, recaps, and routine correspondenceResearch companies and people ahead of meetings, and pull together relevant history and goalsTrack action items to completion, coordinating with other teams and giving them the context they need to actHandle travel arrangements and expensesCoordinate logistics for visitors, events, and offsitesDrive special projects that need an ownerYou May Be a Good Fit If YouAre highly organized and detail-orientedAct first and course-correct, rather than waiting to be toldWrite and communicate clearly, including with senior external stakeholdersAre comfortable with ambiguity and build your own systemsHandle sensitive and confidential information with discretionHave 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a startupAre based in or willing to relocate to the Bay AreaStrong Candidates May Also HaveExperience supporting executives or busy leadersExposure to business development, partnerships, or vendor managementGenuine interest in AI infrastructure and what MatX is buildingCompensationThe US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training.
