Occupational Therapist Assistant

Role: Occupational Therapist Assistant providing occupational therapy to patients in home care settings. Responsibilities Include Following all state laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising OT. Instructing and aiding patients in evidence-based therapies within legal and professional scope. Monitoring, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team. Educating patients, families, caregivers, and team members about therapy procedures. Adapting to various home environments and patient demographics with professionalism and respect. Qualifications Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the practicing state. Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to transportation. Preferred Skills & Attributes CPR certification or willingness to obtain it. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
