Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Up to $50/hr | Prather, CA

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | School-Based | Weekly Pay

Covelo Group is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Prather, CA. You'll work with K-12 students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing hands-on speech and language support based on each student's individual needs and IEP goals.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, weekly pay, and the opportunity to help students build communication skills they can use both in and outside the classroom.

What You'll Do

• Provide speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP

• Implement therapy activities based on student IEP goals

• Work with students individually and in small groups

• Support students with articulation, fluency, language, listening comprehension, and communication skills

• Assist with speech and language activities and evaluations as directed by the supervising SLP

• Track student progress and document therapy sessions

• Communicate observations and student progress to the supervising SLP

• Prepare therapy materials and activities

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student needs

What You'll Need

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program

• Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) registration/license

• Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Certification (C-SLPA), if required for the assignment

• Current BLS certification

• School-based SLPA experience preferred

• Ability to work a full-time Monday-Friday school schedule

• Strong communication and documentation skills
