Machinist - Trainee Location: Tallahassee, FL Pay Range: $23 per hour Shift: 3rd shift – Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Job Type: Temporary (Full Time) Reference Number: 5844041 • Published Date: 06/13/2026 Industry: Production Responsibilities Assist in the mass production of oil‑free HVAC compressors by following detailed instructions and safety protocols. Participate in component parts preparation and line assembly operations. Learn to program, set up, and operate CNC machines under supervision. Maintain quality standards by inspecting parts and troubleshooting issues. Document production activities and communicate effectively with team members. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
