Job Title Civil Supervisor – Transmission & Substation Projects Location: Florida (No Remote Work) Industry: Utility/Engineering Job Description This role focuses on transmission Right-of-Way (ROW) improvements and substation site preparation projects, leading and supervising a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction teams and vendors involved in transmission ROW improvements and substation site preparation projects. Work with the civil engineering team to prepare, review, and manage RFPs for upcoming projects. Ensure projects comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Track and manage project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Act as the primary point of contact between the client and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams. Maintain detailed project documentation and reports. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Licenses/Certifications: Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license. Extensive experience in transmission ROW improvements and substation site preparation. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with experience managing construction teams and vendors. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and clients.
