We have a Level III Trauma Center the first Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and the first accredited Chest Pain Center in the Brazos Valley. As an integrated healthcare system St. Joseph Health includes a comprehensive network of over 100 employed providers including primary care physicians specialists and advanced practice clinicians. The network includes more than 30 ambulatory clinics featuring primary care Express Clinics and imaging and diagnostic services. Responsibilities - Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels
- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
- Quickly report and address any changes in condition
- Patiently and thoroughly explain tests results and procedures to patients and family members
- Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention
We are offering a $20,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Qualifications
Required Skills :
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma.
- One (1) or more years of nursing experience
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
- BLS (AHA)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- One (1) or more years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred
