Kiembu Linguist for AI Training [Remote]

Use your Kiembu and English language expertise to create high-quality linguistic data that will train and improve next-generation AI systems. You will transcribe, annotate, and analyze multimedia Kiembu content, explain cultural and conceptual meanings, and provide feedback that directly shapes model behavior and understanding.

• Transcribe Kiembu audio and video, providing precise timestamps for each segment.
• Annotate linguistic features, including grammar, syntax, sentence construction, and usage patterns in Kiembu.
• Analyze speaker emotion, tone, and intent across multimedia content and document findings.
• Explain conceptual meanings and cultural nuances of Kiembu words and phrases, with contextual examples.
• Perform high-level translation or interpretation tasks and contextual analysis when required.
• Deliver clear, concise written and verbal feedback aligned with project guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure all deliverables meet specified accuracy and quality expectations.

• Exceptional bilingual fluency in Kiembu and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of Kiembu grammar and syntax, and familiarity with cultural context and nuance.
• Experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, translation, or similar language-focused work preferred.
• Analytical skills to assess emotion, tone, and speaker intent.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality outputs.
• Ability to work independently on complex language tasks.
• Background or interest in linguistics, translation, or language technology is a plus.
