Responsibilities and Qualifications Perform quick services for all pets including paw package, nail trims and filing, ear cleaning, nail polish, and paw wax application. Attend free, paid training through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming for Nail & Ear tech program. Recommend the perfect shampoo to make a dog’s coat shine. Polish the nails of feline friends. Review and compare ingredient labels of food brands for concerned cat parents. Stock shelves and ring up neighbors’ purchases. Feed all the furry pets and keep their cages clean. Dog wash attendant duties: operate and supervise the bathing system and assist when appropriate. Restock supplies, complete laundry tasks (clean the dryer filters and hair traps), keep floors clean and dry. Process neighbors’ purchases with accurate and efficient service. Provide Preferred Pet Club membership information to ensure neighbors don’t miss any offers. Safely unload delivery trucks using proper equipment. Stock shelves to ensure pets have their favorite chew toys and treats, and help carry purchases to customers’ cars. Provide care for store pets, which may include cleaning habitats, feeding, and handling the animals. Answer neighbors’ questions on animal care to help them find or maintain the perfect pet. Act as back‑up for team members when extra help is needed. The role may be physically demanding, requiring lifting of 40–65 lbs and standing for long periods. Knowledge of animals and products is essential for outstanding service. Schedule and Eligibility Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. All candidates must pass a drug and background screening. Must be 18 years old. Compensation Hourly rate of $15.00–$16.00, plus 30% commission on every service performed.
