This contract opportunity near Minneapolis, MN is designed for a dedicated professional ready to provide valuable psychological services in a school setting, working at an 0.8 level (approximately four days per week).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current and valid license as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and supporting IEP teams
• Strong understanding of special education processes and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to promoting equity, inclusivity, and student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret data for eligibility and program planning
• Work closely with teachers and staff on behavioral and academic interventions
• Participate actively in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and counsel students individually or in small groups
• Support a positive, proactive approach to mental health for students
• Consult with parents/guardians, offering guidance and strategies as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
