Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. This opportunity is located in Bartlett, TN at a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty if applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital clinical laboratory setting.
• Ability to perform routine and moderately complex diagnostic testing and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume hospital lab workflows.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health record interfaces.
• Prior experience in blood bank, microbiology, or chemistry segments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Expected hours: 40 per week.
