TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tucson, Arizona, 85712!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit operating under a team nursing model (LPN + RN), with a ratio of 8:1
• Float within scope of practice as needed, including occasional float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away (lower acuity setting)
• Complete an open-book EKG test at orientation
• Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per contract
• Fulfill the full contract length; commitment to the entire 13-week assignment is required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be current and not expire within 30 days of start date)
• NIHSS certification required (must be current and not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Proficiency in EPIC required
• Must be agreeable to floating to a sister facility on a rare, as-needed basis
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience working within a team nursing model is a plus
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
