Personal Care Aide (PCA)

Forest City Personal Care Home | Forest City, PA

Forest City Nursing and Rehab Personal Care Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCA) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care and making a difference in the lives of our residents.

We are willing to train the right candidates to become Medication Technicians (Med Techs).

Shift Available

Part-Time 11p-7a EVERY weekend

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Assist with nail care and other routine personal care tasks
Administer medications to residents who are not self-administering (training provided by the facility)
Assist residents during mealtimes and ensure nutritional needs are met
Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents
Observe and report changes in resident condition to appropriate staff
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and caregivers to provide quality resident care

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required
Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
Willingness to train as a Medication Technician (Med Tech)
Must be flexible and willing to work any shift
Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
