Our company is currently seeking a Settlement Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Reconcile delivery drivers
- Processing account receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Preforming day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
