Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with specialization in Oncology to provide compassionate patient care and support within a healthcare facility. The role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical observations accurately.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess a relevant nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Have at least 1 year of recent experience in oncology nursing.
• Complete two supervisor references within the past 18 months.
• Include copies of all required certifications and licensure with application.
• Availability for interview at scheduled times.
