Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Emergency Room RN Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel contract in rural Alaska. This night shift position is based in a remote ER setting, where nurses must be confident, flexible, and capable of working independently with limited on-site support. You'll deliver hands-on emergency care to a wide range of patients in a tight-knit community, making a real impact in a region where healthcare access is critical.

What You'll Bring

• Current RN license from any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum 2 years of ER or critical care experience
• NIHSS certification – required
• BLS – required
• ACLS – required
• PALS – required
• Willingness to complete FEMA Courses IS-100.C, IS-200.C & IS-700.B
• Strong clinical and triage skills
• Experience in rural or low-resource settings a plus

Travel and Housing

• Round-trip coach class airfare included
• Housing provided
• Shared hospital vehicle available for trips into town
• Housing does not include phone, cable, internet, or furniture rental
• No smoking or pets permitted in housing
