We are seeking a committed and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving patient mobility and restoring functionality through evidence-based practices and individualized care plans. We mainly accept private insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized treatment plans for each of our clients.

Work Environment

This role is designated for our outpatient office, where you'll work alongside a dynamic team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant. The collaborative work environment fosters knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement, ensuring that our staff is aligned in delivering the highest quality care. The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to understand their health goals and develop customized treatment strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload, treating one patient per hour, to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatments.
• Implement effective and cost-efficient therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Work collaboratively with your team to reduce patients' reliance on medications and explore conservative treatment options.
• Create detailed care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Design and oversee personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Deliver comprehensive patient education to empower individuals in their rehabilitation journey.
• Monitor patient progress, assess treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintain precise documentation of all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress notes.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging atmosphere to inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily works with patients experiencing orthopedic concerns, from post-operative rehabilitation to preventative care. Patients may range from athletes focused on performance enhancement to individuals recovering from injury or surgery. This diverse population allows for an enriching professional experience as you tailor your approach to meet varying needs and expectations.

Qualifications

• A valid California license as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is essential; preference given to candidates with advanced qualifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques is important.
• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Strong capability in developing and executing exercise protocols based on patient-specific goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a private practice setting is preferred.
• Specialty certifications or advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation can enhance your candidacy.
• Evidence of continuing education in relevant physical therapy disciplines is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is competitive, offering an annual salary between $100,000 and $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
