• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $70.00–$72.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 4x10, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Day Shift); On-Call required: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Job Summary

This is a Cath Lab RN travel/contract opportunity at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA. The facility is Providence Saint Mary Medical Center, a 212-bed acute care hospital. Locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius; please reach out to the account manager for the local rate. RTO requests must be included at the time of submission. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab procedures
• Assist with cardiac stent placement
• Circulate procedures within the Cath Lab
• Perform and assist with right and left heart catheterization
• Respond to on-call requirements: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required (hard stop)
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Cardiac Stent Placement experience
• Ability to circulate procedures
• Right and left heart catheterization experience
• No first-time travelers accepted (hard stop; screen if 5 years of experience)
• On-call availability required

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Acute care hospital setting (212 staffed beds)
• 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-call required: weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Scrub color: Navy blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking on site

• Hard Stop: No first-time travelers accepted; screen candidates with 5 years of experience
• Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius;
• RTO restrictions: RTO must be included

• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
