Production Manager

Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing execution for tracked artillery vehicle programs. This role oversees build readiness, production planning, and execution across prototype, pre-production, and production phases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in defense manufacturing, vehicle assembly, and cross-functional coordination to ensure products meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day manufacturing supervision, leadership, and support to ensure a smooth and efficient operation in accordance with operating policies, applicable laws, and internal quality standards.
• Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and work instructions to support program milestones.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring build tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical requirements.
• Lead resolution of build issues through collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to configuration control and validated engineering data.
• Monitor production performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule commitments.
• Support readiness for integration events, vehicle assembly, system checkout, and acceptance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, tooling, documentation, and workflow optimization.
• Monitor operational efficiencies and other data reports to guide labor efforts to meet or exceed standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle or ground system manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, configuration management, and technical build requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional production teams.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with an emphasis on management
• Experience with ERP systems
