Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float in Walnut Creek, California to perform blood collections across multiple clinic locations. This role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques for diverse patient populations, specimen preparation, and administrative duties with flexibility to travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Process and prepare collected specimens for testing; maintain accurate patient and specimen logs
- Enter patient information and process billing; collect payments when required
- Travel to additional clinic sites as needed; provide superior customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT) or pending application
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation for travel between locations
Compensation: $23.00–$33.00 per hour, plus $1.50/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement; quarterly bonus eligible
