$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and CT technology to produce high-quality images crucial for accurate diagnoses. They ensure patient safety, proper technique, and adherence to radiology protocols. Responsibilities: Operate fixed and portable X-ray and CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. Adjust exposure settings, patient positioning, and equipment to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure under ALARA principles. Process and review images in PACS, ensuring clarity and accuracy for radiologist evaluation. Assist with contrast media administration and patient preparation for CT exams. Maintain compliance with safety standards, perform quality control checks, and document procedures accurately. Coordinate appointment scheduling for imaging procedures and support patient and staff inquiries with professional customer service. Qualifications: Hold a valid R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential. Possess at least 1 year of experience as a CT technologist. Demonstrate proficiency in radiographic procedures and radiation safety practices. Show strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and imaging principles. Exhibit excellent patient care and communication skills.
