Come check out UWorld and be part of something extraordinary. UWorld Accounting is seeking a full-time tax professional, trainer, tutor, or educator to join our organization as a Tax Content Writer. The ideal candidates will be individuals with a passion for accounting, an affinity for writing, a creative spark, and interest in helping others succeed. Requirements Education: Degree in accounting or taxation Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required CPA certification preferred Experience: Strong knowledge of U.S. federal taxation, including individual and/or business taxation Professional experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, tax research, accounting, or a related field Excellent written communication and editing skills Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly and logically Strong research skills and attention to detail Ability to interpret and apply tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance A demonstrated interest in education, teaching, writing, or developing instructional content Responsibilities Develop and review high-quality tax questions, explanations, and educational content for UWorld’s accounting and tax products Apply your knowledge of federal tax law, regulations, and IRS guidance to ensure content is technically accurate and up to date Write clear, concise explanations that walk learners through concepts and calculations step by step Research tax topics and stay current with changes to tax laws, regulations, IRS guidance, and professional standards Collaborate with accountants, educators, editors, and other subject matter experts to develop and improve content Review existing content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and instructional effectiveness Identify areas where students may struggle and develop explanations that make challenging concepts easier to understand Incorporate feedback from editors and other subject matter experts to continuously improve content Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Stable and growing work environment that prioritizes a quality work/life balance 100k+ salary (based on experience) with annual bonus eligibility Paid time off (based on sliding scale according to hire date and work hours) Onsite work environment with flexibility to work 1 day remotely each week Generous paid holiday schedule that includes the entire week of Christmas off Comprehensive benefits package (medical, vision, dental, life, disability) 401(k) plan for retirement with 5% employer matching (eligibility after 90 days of employment) On-site group fitness classes & relaxed work environment At UWorld, we believe strength is derived from the talents, ideas, and experiences of a diverse workforce.
