Job Description
TITLE: RN - Operating Room

SCHEDULE: Day/Evening, 5 x 8s, M - F 0600 to 2030. Schedule and start times rotate.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Preferred
- 1+ years of experience in Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma required
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR): Preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout the surgical procedure.
- Ensure proper surgical protocols and procedures are followed to maintain patient safety.
- Provide assistance with surgical instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and procedures.
