ICU Registered Nurse (RN)The ICU Float Registered Nurse is responsible for providing critical care nursing to patients in intensive care units across multiple locations. This role requires skilled nursing practice in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.RequirementsCurrent California RN LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationNational Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificationMinimum of 4 years of experience in an ICU settingShift DetailsShifts consist of a 3 x 12 hour schedule with day/night rotation as needed. The hours are from 07:00 to 19:30 or 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend rotation is required, and the position includes floating between multiple locations as needed. It is important to note that travelers may be assigned to separate locations for different shifts. They will be notified 2 hours prior to their start time regarding where to report.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in critical settings, monitoring vital signs and administering medications.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Float to various ICU locations within the region as necessary, ensuring continuity of care.Respond to medical emergencies and assist in resuscitative efforts as required.Educate patients and families on health management and care processes.Client Details State CA
