Job Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapists assess, treat, and monitor patients with pulmonary disorders across all age groups. They perform diagnostic tests, manage cardiopulmonary equipment, and provide critical respiratory care to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Gather comprehensive data to accurately evaluate patients' respiratory health.
• Assess patients based on physical and age-related needs for tailored treatment plans.
• Observe, document, and communicate symptoms, reactions, and progress.
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and diagnostic procedures accurately.
• Manage airway interventions, including endotracheal intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care, and emergency life support.
• Educate patients and community members on respiratory health and wellness.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
• Demonstrate competence in performing diagnostic tests and administering respiratory treatments.
• Experience with cardiopulmonary equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
