Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, continuous, and long-term EEG studies for inpatient and outpatient populations.
Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including electrode placement, application, and patient education.
Monitor and record brain wave activity while ensuring high-quality diagnostic data.
Perform neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric EEG testing.
Conduct continuous EEG monitoring in ICU and critical care settings.
Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic EMR system.
Operate Nihon Kohden EEG equipment and software efficiently.
Minimum 2 years of EEG Technologist experience.
Experience with Nihon Kohden EEG systems.
BLS Certification.
Ability to recognize and document brain wave patterns accurately.
EEG Certification (preferred unless grandfathered through extensive experience).
Previous experience using Epic EMR.
Work at a nationally recognized Magnet-designated hospital.
Gain experience in a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Exposure to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
Enhance your skills with advanced neurological and critical care cases.
No floating requirements outside the EEG department.
