CDL Class A Driver – Drop & Hook

Location: Piscataway, NJ

We are hiring dependable CDL Class A Drivers for Drop & Hook positions at our Piscataway, NJ location.

Truck Info

• Vehicle Class: Class A
• Truck Type: Dry Van
• Transmission: Automatic
• Slip Seating: Yes (company works to keep drivers in the same truck as much as possible)
• Fleet Age: 5 years old or less
• Cameras: Yes – driver-facing and road-facing

Responsibilities

• Delivering beverage products via drop & hook (no loading/unloading required)
• Stops per day vary based on delivery schedule; drivers typically work 10-hour days
• Delivery radius: 200 miles from the Piscataway branch (occasional deliveries into NY – drivers must be comfortable with NY locations if needed)

Schedule

• Days: Monday – Friday
• Start Times: 2am or 6am 
• Average Hours: 50–55 hours per week
• Overnights: None – drivers are home daily
• Routes: Similar week to week, subject to occasional changes

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $27.50/hour
• Overtime: After 40 hours/week (daily OT after 10 hours)
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Bonuses: Union membership eligibility after permanent hire; safety bonus potential up to $1,000

Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years preferred (2-year minimum)
• Physical Requirements: No lifting requirements; occasional sweeping out of trailer
• Endorsements: Tanker preferred, not required
• Minimum Age: 21

• SAP Program: Not accepted
