You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, employee entrances, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
