Therapist Occupational Therapist

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide skilled occupational therapy services to inpatient rehab patients, evaluating and developing treatment plans to promote recovery of functional abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, and follow-up treatments for inpatient rehab patients.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive care.
  
  
• 
  Float between inpatient rehab and acute care therapy units as assigned.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to facility dress code and safety protocols, including wearing red scrubs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active and valid occupational therapy license (OTR/L).
  
  
• 
  Possess a BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant inpatient therapy experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and work independently.
  
  
• 
  Show strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Certification in NIH and ACLS preferred.
