Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
• Level 3-unit NICU skills
• Acute care experience in Med Surg, ER and ICU
• Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators and Heated High Flow units
• Experience assisting with intubations and bedside bronchs
• Proficient EMR charting

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday
• Call requirements: none
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Experience with vents PB, Drager V500, Aerogon's, V60 Bipap, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet, Nitric, and Bubble CPAP
