We are currently hiring a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) with a dedicated FridayMonday schedule, supporting our highest-volume emergency care periods. • 24/7 Emergency Operations: Thursday 6:00 PM Tuesday 8:00 AM

Your Role in Emergency Veterinary Medicine

In emergency medicine, a Veterinary Receptionist / CSR is a critical member of the care team, not just administrative support. You are:

• The first point of contact during emergencies
• A calm, reassuring presence during high-stress moments
• A communication bridge between clients and medical teams
• A key contributor to patient flow and hospital efficiency

Key Responsibilities Veterinary CSR / Receptionist

Emergency Intake & Client Support

• Greet and triage incoming emergency patients
• Identify STAT cases and immediately alert medical staff
• Maintain calm, organized intake during high-pressure situations

Compassionate Client Communication

• Guide pet owners through urgent medical situations
• Explain estimates, treatment plans, and hospital flow clearly
• Support families during end-of-life care and difficult decisions with empathy and professionalism

Front Desk & Administrative Excellence

• Manage high-volume multi-line phone systems
• Accurately document client and patient information
• Process payments and maintain financial accuracy
• Maintain a clean, professional, welcoming reception area

Team Collaboration in ER Environment

• Partner closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians
• Support efficient patient flow and communication
• Contribute to a respectful, accountable, high-performance team culture

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable availability for overnight, evening, and weekend shifts
• Ability to lift 3050 pounds
• Strong dependability and punctuality

Highly Preferred:

• Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary CSR
• Experience in emergency veterinary medicine or human healthcare
• Background in high-volume medical or hospital environments
