Job Title: Senior Integration Developer (IBM ACE & IBM MQ)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer to independently analyze, design, and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. This role is responsible for delivering high-availability, high-performance solutions, providing technical expertise, supporting complex business needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code to support complex IT solutions. • Provide technical expertise and collaborate with IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver solutions that meet changing business needs. • Conduct discovery and fact-finding activities to understand complex business problems and opportunities. • Independently execute assigned projects and initiatives. • Evaluate solution options and provide buy-versus-build recommendations when requested. • Analyze development and production issues and recommend appropriate solutions. • Communicate effectively with project teams, vendors, and management regarding issues and resolutions. • Research technology trends and IT best practices, applying relevant learnings to the business where appropriate. • Provide direction and assistance to less experienced team members. • Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from customer service professionals, subscribers, providers, physicians, and other insurance carriers regarding claims payments. • Meet or exceed established quality and performance standards. • Determine suspended claim resolution methods through review of benefit eligibility, claims history, and related information. • Escalate claims requiring specialized resolution to subject matter experts in accordance with department policies and guidelines. • Understand business requirements for customer and provider segments and deliver tailored solutions. • Identify and document system issues, recommend potential solutions, and engage appropriate technical staff. • Partner with designated Provider Services specialists to deliver provider-focused services. • Review claims for potential fraud and abuse and refer cases to the Special Investigations Unit for further investigation. • Use continuous improvement practices and claims knowledge to drive efficiency and productivity gains while sharing best practices. • Coordinate with insurance carriers and Medicare to determine payment liability. • Represent Claims interests on divisional and enterprise project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in IBM ACE development is required. • Experience with IBM MQ, API development, XML, JSON, event-driven architecture, and Salesforce preferred. • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required). • 5+ years of experience in a related field. • In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field.
