Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright-based test automation , API testing, integration testing, and AI-assisted quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Amazon Q, or equivalent platforms to improve test coverage, accelerate automation development, optimize test execution, and enhance overall software quality.

Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Build and execute automated test suites covering:
  • Functional Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • API Testing
  • End-to-End Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Cross-browser Testing
• Create reusable automation components and utilities.
• Develop robust test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Ensure automation suites are optimized for execution speed, maintainability, and scalability.

API & Microservices Testing

• Design API automation frameworks.
• Validate REST APIs and event-driven services.
• Perform:
  • Contract Testing
  • Service Integration Testing
  • Backend Testing
  • Schema Validation
• Validate OAuth, JWT, and API security implementations.
• Test asynchronous processing and messaging workflows.
