Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Several onsite positions are open across various elementary and middle schools in the Beaufort region, starting August 2026 and concluding June 2027. Each opening offers the chance to develop and support students in diverse learning environments, with both intensive support and supplemental models featured in the district. Candidates will receive comprehensive details about specific placements and support structures during the interview process.

Desired Qualifications:

• A valid Special Education teaching certification or eligibility for certification
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities (ASD, Multi-Categorical, Intellectual, and Emotional Disabilities)
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for partnering with staff, families, and students
• Adaptability to various support models (intensive, supplemental, and hybrid)
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress towards academic and behavioral goals
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain compliant records and adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines
