Please Note: This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed. This position is located out of store number #6526 in Murrysville but will travel to other stores in the designated district.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role supports the smooth operation of a retail environment by guiding staff and assisting with store responsibilities. It combines leadership, customer service, and hands-on tasks throughout each shift. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during assigned shifts and ensure store activities run smoothly
• Customer Support: Assist shoppers, answer questions, and promote a positive store experience
• Sales Processing: Operate the cash register and complete accurate sales transactions
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build organized product displays
• Clerk Training: Provide direction and instruction to less experienced staff on store procedures
• Record Reporting: Complete shift reports related to cash handling and inventory management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of retail sales work.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
