Setting: In-house Subacute Rehabilitation Facility

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve optimal functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (PT, OT, nursing, physicians)
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Nebraska SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

• Per diem / PRN (as needed)
