Job DescriptionMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated PRN RN PACU to join our team. Memorial Hermann Memorial Surgery Center Kingsland is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. \n\n\n\n Monday to Friday work schedule\n Open two Saturday's a month; must work at least one Saturday a month.\n NO CALL required\n Off most holidays.\n\n\nJob Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate.\n\n\nResponsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.\n\n\nResponsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.\n\n\n#USP-RN\n\n\n#USP-123\n\n\n#LI-CM1\n\nRequired Skills\n\nQualifications:\n\n\n Graduate of an accredited school of nursing\n Currently licensed in the state\n Current BLS, ACLS and PALS\n Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or ICU\n\n\n\nUSPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.\n\n
