Quick Facts: Location: Portland, OR (Work at Providence St. Vincent & Providence Portland Medical Centers) Start Date: ASAP / Upon Confirmation Duration: Permanent Full-Time Shift: 12 or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am) Hours per Week: 36-40 hours Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Open to NP or PA willing to obtain OR license; Neonatal PA fellowship or residency completed Experience: Previous neonatal, delivery room, or Level III NICU experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: $1.00/hour (please contact us for more details upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application; Medical, dental, vision insurance; Malpractice insurance; Paid time off; Retirement plan options; Continuing education opportunities What You'll Do: Manage high-risk neonates and infants in Level III NICUs at both Providence hospitals Lead clinical management, including diagnostics, treatments, and family education Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff Attend deliveries and perform neonatal procedures as needed Exercise autonomy in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans Support patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment What You Need: Valid Oregon-based Medical or Nurse Practitioner license (or able to obtain OR license) Neonatal PA fellowship or residency completed Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients and delivery room procedures preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively About the Assignment: Join a leading healthcare facility in Portland, Oregon, renowned for their Level III NICU services, teaching environment, and supportive team.
