Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography studies across patient populations, including Echo, Doppler, Color Flow, Stress Echo, and electrocardiograms.
  • Provide preliminary findings to cardiologists to support accurate interpretation.
  • Engage with patients to explain procedures, address questions, and ensure comfort.
  • Accurately maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Operate, maintain, and disinfect imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Track and manage necessary testing supplies.
  • Safely move and position patients using proper techniques.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret diagnostic data in accordance with departmental protocols.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular program.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in echocardiography or a related setting.
  • ARDMS RDCS Adult Echo certification required; Pediatric Echo a plus.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Skilled in Echo, Doppler, Color Flow, and Stress Echo.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage workflow and priorities in a dynamic environment.
