Role Description The Inventory Planning Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Battleboro, NC. This position is responsible for planning and managing inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand, while minimizing waste and stockouts. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales and production data, developing demand and inventory plans, monitoring inventory accuracy, and coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams. The role also involves setting inventory targets, resolving discrepancies, implementing process improvements, and preparing regular reports and forecasts for leadership. The Inventory Planning Manager collaborates across departments to ensure products are available on time and in the right quantities. Qualifications Strong skills in Inventory Planning and Inventory Management to maintain optimal stock levels and support business objectives. Experience in Demand Planning and Inventory Control to forecast needs and align inventory with production and sales plans. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production, procurement, and logistics teams. Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
