As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Ruther Glen, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who brings integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while staying agile and reliable in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with awareness that working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity within the location.
• Support daily operations by observing for damaged doors, gates, trailers, and/or other property concerns, and communicating security-related issues according to post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
