Review customer specifications, drawings, and industry standards. Recommend connector designs that meet customer performance and application requirements. Serve as the technical liaison throughout the design and development process. Product Design & DevelopmentDesign and develop new connector and interconnect solutions. Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. Support engineering projects through prototype development, testing, and product qualification. Ensure designs meet customer, industry, and manufacturing requirements. Technical LeadershipPresent technical concepts and design solutions to customers. Provide engineering support during customer meetings and industry trade shows. Assist in developing technical documentation and product literature. Represent the voice of the customer throughout product development. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product Management, Business Development, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams. Help identify emerging market opportunities and future product technologies. Support continuous product innovation and engineering improvements. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related technical discipline. 2+ years of engineering experience preferred within connectors, interconnect products, power systems, or harsh environment applications. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Ability to travel (air and car) up to 50%.Type: direct hire
