Job Overview

The Job Center is hiring Bindery Operators for a production facility in Jeffersonville, IN. This role supports bindery and finishing operations within a printing environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret job orders to determine required bindery operations and specifications
Set up and operate entry-level bindery equipment including drill punch, folder, collators, off-line numbering machines, paper cutter, padding press, and poly wrapper
Perform continuous quality checks throughout production operations
Review quality checklists from previous departments prior to running orders
Insert completed products into boxes for shipment
Use various methods and equipment for counting, spooning, padding, and related tasks
Perform kitting or fulfillment functions by assembling materials according to customer specifications
Perform basic shipping and receiving duties
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Stand for extended periods during shift

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, printing, or bindery experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to stand and lift throughout shift
