Data AnalystPay: $49.62 per hour Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX Pay Rate: $49.62/hr. Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary) Staffmark Total Talent Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Plano, TX.Data Analyst Top Skills Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics 5-7 years of experience mining data as a data analyst or business data analyst Strong Google BigQuery, Tableau, SQL, or MS Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic toolsPosition Description Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic reports, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sourcesRequirements Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics 5-7 years of experience mining data as a data analyst or business data analyst Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations Strong Google BigQuery, SQL, or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools 5+ years of experience using reporting tools such as Tableau. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques Working experience with transactional data sets Previous experience in ecommerce analytics or similar function with heavy focus on data analysis Must have executive-level PowerPoint creation experienceStaffmark talent working with this client receives competitive compensation and a great benefits package!
