Sr. IT Program/Project Manager Auto Club of Southern California

We need a Sr. IT Program/Project Manager for a 12 month contract role for a client in Costa Mesa, CA .


The project will involve working with client's internal legal team to implement a cloud based Legal Services Management Platform called ONit .


This role will be REMOTE . We would prefer candidates in the PACIFIC time zone if possible, but the person can be located anywhere in the USA as long as he/she can work PACIFIC time zone hours.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
• Expertise in Waterfall methodology required, Agile methodology experience desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
• Enterprise Project Planning tool preferred; Clarizen experience a plus.
• Develops actionable plans to achieve strategic goals.
• Delivers logical, concise, persuasive presentations that inspire others to act and make decisions.
• Makes sound business decisions that balance competing priorities.
• Identifies areas of significant concern or opportunity and initiates research to identify critical problems.
• Clearly define program ROIs & ensure ability to measure.
• Leverages synergistic opportunities across functions and the business.
• Develops appropriate metrics to assess business performance.
• Makes recommendations to resolve complex problems affecting an entire function.
• Systematically analyzes relationships between apparently independent problems.


Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in Project/Program Management as part of a PMO.
• 13+ years of overall IT experience.
• Full project/program lifecycle experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing program stakeholders and senior level executives.
• Experience with Legal applications, preferably ONit .
• Experience managing vendor relationships.
• Experience managing large-scale, enterprise level technology infrastructure and/or information security initiatives required.


Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's Degree (IT related degree, e.g. Computer Sciences, Information Technology)


Preferred Certifications:
• Project Management Certification E.g. ( PMP certification)
• Scrum Certification E.g. (PMI ACP, or CSM certification)
