COMPENSATION: $50‑$85 per single class shift, with additional pay for multi‑class shifts (2.5‑5 hour shifts) About Us: CyberTeck Academy offers after‑school and summer camp services focused on computer science and game design for students grades 1‑7. We partner with hundreds of schools in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. No previous experience is required! PAID TRAINING and curricula are provided. This is a great job for college students or part‑time job seekers looking to gain teaching experience in a dynamic field. Classes meet once a week at each school and run for 6‑8 weeks. Only a minimum of 2 days of availability per week is required. Teach technology classes at schools in one or more of the following VA/MD/DC counties/cities: Loudoun Fairfax Prince William District of Columbia Montgomery Howard Frederick Training will start in August 2026 and work will begin thereafter. Virginia Locations For Fairfax locations, the shift’s hours fall between 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm. For Prince William County, the hours fall between 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm with shifts lasting approximately 3.5 hours (depending on school locations). There are Saturday classes available from 8:15 am – 11 am US EST or 9:45 am – 12 pm US EST . Maryland Locations Montgomery county shifts run from 2:45 pm – 6:45 pm US EST (as many days as needed). Howard county shifts run from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm US EST (as many days as needed). Preference will be given to candidates who can work 3 or more days a week, especially in Howard. DC Location: 4001 Calvert St NW, Washington, DC. Must be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Hours will be from 2 pm – 6 pm. Start: week of Feb 9 to May. Paid training will be before then. MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT COMPANY LAPTOPS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT DUTIES: Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school. Show up on time – we are responsible for children. Set up laptops and related equipment for 8‑12 children. Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes. Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff. QUALIFICATIONS: Familiar with video and/or computer games. Enjoys working with and teaching kids aged 5‑14. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work well independently. Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check. PLUS (not required): basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or 3D modeling experience. PLUS (not required): child‑care, teaching, and/or tutoring experience. This is a paid internship or part‑time seasonal contract position . Paid training will be available for new employees during the first month of each season.
